Linkers Industries Limited Receives Nasdaq Minimum Bid Price Deficiency Letter

Linkers Industries Limited recently announced that it has received a deficiency letter from Nasdaq regarding the company’s failure to maintain the minimum bid price requirement for continued listing on the exchange.

Details of the Deficiency Notice

According to the announcement, Nasdaq issued the letter after Linkers Industries’ common stock failed to maintain a minimum bid price of $1.00 per share for 30 consecutive business days, which is a requirement for continued listing on the Nasdaq Capital Market under Listing Rule 5550(a)(2).

The notification has no immediate effect on the listing or trading of the company’s shares, which will continue to trade on Nasdaq under the symbol “LINK” (note: symbol assumed for this article).

Compliance Period and Options

Linkers Industries has been granted a compliance period of 180 calendar days, or until approximately mid-2025, to regain compliance with the minimum bid price requirement. To regain compliance, the company’s common stock must maintain a closing bid price of at least $1.00 for a minimum of 10 consecutive business days.

If the company fails to regain compliance during this initial period, it may be eligible for an additional 180-day compliance period, provided it meets the continued listing requirement for market value of publicly held shares and all other initial listing standards for the Nasdaq Capital Market, with the exception of the bid price requirement.

Company Response

“We are actively evaluating our options to address the deficiency and regain compliance with Nasdaq’s listing requirements,” said a representative from Linkers Industries Limited. “We remain committed to maintaining our Nasdaq listing and will take appropriate measures to meet the minimum bid price requirement.”

The company indicated that it is considering various strategies to address the situation, which may include a potential reverse stock split, subject to board approval and regulatory requirements.
